If you have ever spent any time in the glory of God you never want it to end, for there is a great difference between the presence of God and the manifest glory. We all live in the presence of God because He is everywhere even if we do not notice Him throughout our day, but when we begin to seek His face His presence begins to manifest upon us and we feel His love, peace, and joy in the midst of our busy lives. When we sense His presence, God did not somehow come down out of heaven to us, no, we yielded to our spiritual nature and entered His presence because He is everywhere, and we are spirit beings that just turned inward to our spirit man. This is who we really are and where our true life comes from, His abiding presence. The key is for us to be presence conscious at all times for this would truly be living in heaven on earth.

Please understand, when we seek Him with all our heart He promises to manifest Himself to us so that we can know Him more intimately. “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." John 14:21 (NKJV).  What a promise to us! But how many of God’s people are claiming this one promise and forgoing the joy of heavenly fellowship now on earth? No wonder why so many people are addicted to everything else but God to fill the need of their heart.

Now the question is, how do we describe the glory of God? We can somewhat describe the manifest presence of God as love and peace, but the glory is beyond description and once we have had an encounter with the glory we are ruined to ever settling for just a nice religious service. It somehow changes your DNA of ever settling for just a normal Christian life on earth. When I am in the glory I always feel awe and beyond words to even begin to describe what it is, just that I want more and more of Him! It is both heavy and life giving at the same time as we want to give your whole being to Him Who is beyond our comprehension.

But sad to say, when the glory lifts I wonder how to even describe such bliss, and after time passes by I then wonder what it really felt like when I was in such glory. No wonder why everything in heaven says, GLORY! Because there is no other word to describe His wonderful glory.

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore... Rev 3:12

Jesus makes us an incredible promise in this verse that I have begun to claim. Most people would read this verse and put it off until they get to heaven, but I believe all the promises from God are for the here and now, yes and amen! So many people put the whole book of Revelation off into the future sometime when it is a NOW book that God is just waiting for someone to claim the promises for themselves and their generation.

A pillar is put into place to hold the weight of the roof up for the building and without the pillar the whole structure would come down like what Samson did to his enemy’s temple when he pushed the two pillars down. But for us, God is promising us to be a permanent part of the whole temple that God is building in the kingdom. What a promise! The Wuest translation gives this verse a little more understanding. “The one who gains the victory, I will make him a pillar in the inner sanctuary of my God. And he shall by no means go out any more.” Rev 3:12.

I cannot fathom the complete depth of this promise, but I can somewhat understand that God is calling us to be a permanent part in the glory of His inner court of the Holy of Holies. We will never have to leave for one second but it will go on for eternity. We will forever go into the very unending depths of the heart of God that only the overcomers will experience because of their love for God’s presence and glory. We must have the heart of Moses and Joshua to stay in God’s glory when it is manifest in order for us to carry the glory where it needs to go.

Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. Ex 33:11 (NASU)

The Holy Spirit witnesses to my heart that we the church are entering a time the world has not seen since the beginning of the church age. In fact, no generation has yet experienced the glory as we are about too. I see it coming in like a dark storm where we will not know what to expect, it will be very exciting and fearful in a way because we will have nothing to compare it to. We will not have long to wait anymore, for it is very close and even at the door, so get yourself, family and friends prepared to meet God. “And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.” Ex 19:17 (NASU). God’s glory manifest right in front of Israel but most of the people were fearful and asked Moses not to let God do this again because they did not know Him intimately as Moses did. And that was the last time that God ever revealed His glory to them again.

In the 1950’s the glory of God manifested and many people were healed and changed by the power of God, but they too lost the glory because of fleshly competition among the leadership of the movements and not honoring God with reverence and fear.

Recently I was wakened at 1 a.m. by the presence of the Lord to get up and spend some time with Him. When He walked into the room I could see the glory of the Lord just emanating from Him like a train that just keeps coming and releasing light and life until it filled the room. The Lord went on to say, “This is what I have called you to do, that all may know Me and be drawn into Me to receive My power and glory.

He said to get use to the glory being your new normal, for God is going to tabernacle with His people in a pillar of glory. You the body temple are going to now outshine from your inner being to the glory of the Lord. This will cause healing, strength, blessing, wholeness, life to go forth from a few people at first, and then a torrent will come from many.”

A few days later I was reading Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening devotional and it jumped out at me as confirmation to what the Lord is saying to us.

"The Lord our God hath shewed us his glory." Deut 5:24

…Praise God that you have not been left to the darkness and ignorance which continued prosperity might have involved, but that in the great fight of affliction, you have been capacitated for the outshinings of his glory in his wonderful dealings with you.

Capacitated means, “to have been made ready” that is, for us to carry the glory where ever He has called us to go with Him.

My wife and I love to sit out on the swing listening to the rain and thunder unless it gets to hot and heavy with lightning. This one night I was praying, “Lord let me know what the voice of the seven thunders is saying!” That night there was a strong lightning storm so I went out back to watch and I took out my phone and began to record when a great bolt of lightning hit close by, the sound was fearful and deafening as my heart began to beat rapidly. In fact, I begun to scream like a little girl even though I was prepared for it, somewhat. I then began thinking, “Was that God speaking to me through the thunder? The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice. 2 Sam 22:14 (NASU)

We might think it strange that a living God would so choose to speak through thunder, we just need to have ears to hear what He is saying through the thunder at the time. For instance when God spoke to Jesus from heaven it sounded like thunder to all those who were around Him, they themselves could not interpret what was said because they did not have ears to hear, yet Jesus did understand.

Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven: "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, "An angel has spoken to Him. John 12:28-29 (NASU)

God spoke to the people of Israel through thunder when He met with Moses from the mountain, but the people did not want to hear God this way. Bobby Conner’s wrote in an article entitled, From a Faint Whisper to Hearing God’s Strong Thundering Roar! “Of His mighty and terrible thunder, which is often mentioned as an eminent work of God. Prepare your heart to hear the roar of God’s thunders across the entire earth.” Are you ready?

The thundering has begun for those who have ears to hear what God is saying to the church. But just what is He saying to us at this time? I hear Him saying, “My coming is eminent prepare yourself to receive of My glory to arise shine because the glory of the living God is upon you!”

And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices… Rev 4:5 (NKJV)

Revelations of the light and truth are always coming forth from the throne of God to us. Again, I ask the question, can you hear it and how do we know if we are hearing? When natural lightning and thunder occur we are startled even though we may have prepared ourselves for it. The same is true in the spirit. When we are awakened and shaken by the word and Spirit of God we will know that God has spoken to us through His thunder. We should be hearing Him right now telling us to prepare ourselves for the glory and what He is about to do through signs and wonders in the earth. In fact, the voices from the throne are crying out day and night for those who have ears to hear.

I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see. Rev 6:1 (NKJV)

God wants us daily to ascend into His realm to come and see what He has for us. From the throne the four living beings speak with the voice of thunder for us to experience the great works of God. His thunder is something we just don’t hear, but we feel the power of God. Thunder cannot be denied, it will be experienced by those near it! We who sit on the throne with and in Jesus are also to be speaking with the voice of thunder, for this is the call to all the sons of God to speak forth the message of God from the throne. We are the sons of thunder! “James and John (the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them "Sons of Thunder"). Mark 3:17 (NLT). We must have His power to shake things up with the voice of thunder!

No, not everybody will hear or understand what we have to say, all we need to do is release the word that is in us and let God take care of the rest. I believe this is what the seven thunders of Revelation 10 have for us to hear. The time of great release of the ministers of flame of fire is now upon us, get ready to burn with Jesus, for the time of signs that make us wonder are here! Jesus is a consuming fire and the closer we want to be to Him the more we will burn with His likeness. This is what I desire!

Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. Rev 14:1-3 (NKJV)

This verse reveals the overcoming sons of God are upon the throne with Jesus, this is what Mount Zion represents. The number of the overcomer is, 144,000, which is, 12x12, the number of God’s government that we are called to be a part of.

The voice from heaven is now coming through the sons of God, the voice of many water is not Jesus alone, but through the body of Christ. The voice of loud thunder is now coming through the overcomers so that all of heaven and earth will be shaken by hearing God speaking to them without any doubts or questions that God is real and that He really loves them. These overcomers are now seated on the throne and they sing a new song that only they can know because they have overcome and are now seated in the glory with the Lord for all eternity!

May we rejoice and exult, and give the glory to Him, because come did the marriage of the Lamb, and his wife did make herself ready; and there was given to her that she may be arrayed with fine linen, pure and shining, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Rev 19:7-8 (YLT)

The kairos time of God has come, the bride has now been prepared and the marriage has been consummated, for He has become one in likeness with His bride. Now the glory of the Lord will shine through with great spender and purity from the bride as it does the Son of God for they have become joint-heirs of the kingdom. Now the last battle will ensue to overcome all the works of the flesh throughout the whole earth. Jesus and the bride will come forth with great power and authority on the white horse movement to overcome all the enemies of the King. They cannot and will not be defeated for He is the King of kings!

And a voice out of the throne did come forth, saying, 'Praise our God, all ye His servants, and those fearing Him, both the small and the great; and I heard as the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, 'Alleluia! because reign did the Lord God — the Almighty! Rev 19:5-6 (YLT)

The bride is the voice of a great multitude, the voice of many waters, the voice of thunder that will not be denied. This will all happen through the praises of God’s people. Yes, worship is coming from the throne or should I say, WAR-SHIP prepares us for the glory! It is through worshipping God through the midst of our trials that readies us for the throne to rule and reign through Him. This great multitude shouted from the throne of God five times saying hallelujah, praise the Lord!

Victory, glory, and power belong to our God.

These people also said, "Hallelujah! She is burning and her smoke will rise forever and ever."

Then the 24 elders and the four living beings bowed down. They worshiped God, who sits on the throne. They said, "Amen! Hallelujah!"

Then a voice came from the throne and said,

"Praise our God, all you who serve him!

Praise our God, all you small and great who honor him!"

Then I heard something that sounded like a large crowd of people. It was as loud as crashing waves or claps of thunder. The people were saying,

Our Lord God rules.

He is the All-Powerful.

Let us rejoice and be happy and give God glory!

Give God glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come…

Rev 19:1, 3-7 (ETR)

It is when we the people of God come together as one man shoulder to shoulder that we have been prepared for the greatest out pouring the earth has ever seen. Prepare to shine with His glory!
