God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.” Ex 3:14 (NASU)

Moses argued with God about being sent back to Egypt to set the people of Israel free from slavery. The only problem with this picture is that Moses sees only himself in it and is very fearful that his people are going to reject him when he goes back to Egypt. Then he will also have to face Pharaoh for his past crime of murder and he did not want to do that. Moses was not seeing the Almighty God working through him in great power and authority.

We now see the finished work of God in Moses’ life, but sit in his shoes for a bit and think about what God was asking him to do. Egypt was the world ruling power in that day like the United States is today and God was telling Moses to knock on the door of the White House and talk to the president and to tell him that God demands him to obey him. That would go over like a lead balloon!

However, Moses was looking for a little moral support from his own people of Israel to at least back him. There is a slight problem though, almost nobody, I mean nobody knows the man Moses and certainly they do not know of his unknown God! So Moses is in a pickle, he has God on one side pushing him and the people of Israel and Pharaoh on the other side resisting him. Up to this point Moses does not know of the wonder working power of God at work so he to looks for a loop hole to get him out of having to go to Egypt, but none of his schemes worked with God.

So God plays the “I Am that I Am” card and Moses has no choice in the matter, he either goes or dies because God has just spent eighty years preparing this man to set His people free and God knows what He is doing! When God says that He is the “I AM,” what is He really saying? Imagine telling a people that know nothing of God,  His name is “I Am.” It makes no sense to the mind and seems prideful that anybody would call themselves that. However, God Almighty fills the whole bill on this one name.

Basically God is saying, “I Am everything that I need to be and everything that you will ever need!” We now have a Hebrew name for the I Am, El Shaddai, meaning the all sufficient One. God needs nothing outside of Himself and is capable of doing or having anything He wants. However He created man in His image to share the responsibility of ruling and reigning with Him. But man, God’s men and women have not held up to their part of the calling and plans of God to rule and reign with Him.

Take Adam and Eve, they were called to rule over the whole earth until the fall took place.

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Gen 1:26-28 (NASU)

Man was created as a spirit like God to hold and carry His power and authority. They were in essence little gods that were to share in the godhead power over creation. Some of my readers may protest in me writing such things as unbelievable, but don’t believe my words, believe the word of God in the Psalm’s. “I said, "You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.” Ps 82:6 (NASU)

What is man that You take thought of him,

And the son of man that You care for him?

Yet You have made him a little lower than God,

And You crown him with glory and majesty!

You make him to rule over the works of Your hands;

You have put all things under his feet,

All sheep and oxen,

And also the beasts of the field,

The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,

Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

Ps 8:4-8 (NASU)

That pretty much sums up what God thinks about man and how and what He has created them for.

What if I told you that Jesus is a man and that He is the great I Am. Would you believe me? I guess if you are a true Christian you would, yet there are many Christians and so called Christian denominations that do not believe in the deity of the man, Jesus Christ. When Jesus was asked who He was He declared to them in John 8:58, “Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." For this alone the Jews would have killed Him because He was making Himself out to be God the almighty. Now read some of the things Jesus claimed He is in John.

I am the bread of life. John 6:48

I am the Light of the world. John 8:12

I AM. John 8:58

I am the door. John 10:9

I am the good shepherd. John 10:11

I am the Son of God. John 10:36

I am the resurrection and the life. John 11:25

I am the way, and the truth, and the life. John 14:6

I am the true vine. John 15:1

Either Jesus was an egotistical nut case or He is Who He says He is, and I have no doubt that He is the great I Am!

When we think about our little life on the earth and the little time that we have to spend here compared to eternity, what difference does it make if we know that the great I Am lives and reigns in me or not? A lot!

I believe that Moses was just a forerunner to what Jesus was called to do for the deliverance of all people. But just how God moved through Moses so He moved much greater through Jesus and yet I believe that it was Jesus Who was moving through Moses.

Everything that Jesus is, I am! I am an overcomer because the great Overcomer lives in me. I am the light of the world because the Light lives in me. I am a son of God because the Son of God lives in me. I am the bread of life because the One Who is the bread of life lives in me. There is one thing I cannot be. He is the Savior of the world, He alone did and can pay that price with His own blood. However, He includes us to rule and reign with Him because of His great love for us and that’s what we are created to be. Kings!

And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:6 (NKJV)

The greater works of God are about to be manifested in the earth through a chosen people just as He chose Moses to be a great deliverer. What we have gone through and what we are going through in our lifetime is preparation for reigning. Even if we die before the kingdom comes to earth in its fullness we will be ready and prepared when it does come if we have submitted our life to the King. There is no wasting of our trials with God.

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. John 14:12 (NASU)

He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Rev 3:21 (NASU)

The greatest delivers that have ever walk the earth are about to take the stage of the world, I have Gods promise on this. I was shone this some 20 years ago and have been waiting and hoping that I too could be a part of the unfolding of God’s power and demonstration in the earth. Yet feeling that I have failed Him time and time again and could in no way have qualified for such a position with Christ. However, God has shown me that it is our failures that have prepared us for this great calling. We can see this in the life of Moses, David, Solomon and many others that are to this day on the throne already reigning with Jesus and we also are called to sit with the highest of kings.

If you are waiting on the Lord to fulfill His promises to you, I have great encouragement for you. I have received confirmation from the Lord unto the fulfilment of His promises to us through rainbows.

I was driving home on the freeway when I looked to my side and there were two rainbows right next to me on the ground and they were following me! One of these was in full HD color, I personally have never seen such vivid colors in a rainbow for the brightness was almost hard on the eyes. I could not believe what I was experiencing and was overcome by the presence of the Lord. I could see both ends of the rainbow as they raced along with me down the road for several miles. I have never seen or heard of such a thing, yet it happened to me!

One day later I was listening to MorningStar Pastor Justin Perry say that he saw a double rainbow on the ground on the North and South Carolina boarder. I was floored and numb!  He went on to say, “God is going to fulfill His promises to us quickly, for that is what the two rainbows represent even if you have waited 25 years.”

The rainbows I saw were right next to me, even trying to catch me. The blessed promises of God are about to come to pass and overtake us because the promises remain even if we think we have missed God too much in life, if we will turn to Him, He will help us.

A few months before this latest encounter with the double rainbows we had a rainbow over our house which I got a picture of. My wife and her daughter were looking in the backyard where the rainbow was on the ground on our property. This truly is a sign from the Lord!

Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Rev 4:2-3 (NKJV)

The spirit realm is God’s eternal throne, in His realm and round about His throne proceeds the rainbow of God. The rainbow represents the glory of God that emanates from Him, kind of like what we would think of a halo. Again we find the rainbow around the throne in Ezekiel 1:28, “Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.”

Yes, the rainbow represents the faithfulness of God to keep His promises to us that He would never flood the earth again to destroy all the people. (See Gen 9:13-17). The rainbow is so much greater than just a sign of the covenant between God and man. With the sign of the rainbow God is putting the essence and authority of all that He is when He makes a promise, He plans to keep it with us. He puts His glory on the promise that it will come to pass! No wonder why the devil would try to steal and mimic the rainbow to do evil, because it mocks the very throne of glory that He sits upon! Fear not, for no one, and that includes the devil himself and his children will not be able to steal the glory of God, for that is given to the sons of God alone.

I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. Rev 10:1 (NKJV)

This mighty angel/messenger is the Lord Jesus Himself coming from the throne of glory with majesty to unveil the mystery of God, which is the unveiling of the sons of God. The rainbow, the glory of God is revealed through Jesus and His sons in full revelation of the light and truth to deliver mankind from sin through the ministers of flames of fire.

Expect the glory of God to fall soon on the people of God near you! And may I say, believe God for this promise for yourself to reveal the glory through you. It is time that we take back the symbol of the rainbow, for it is God’s promise of glory to us!
