He makes the winds His messengers, flaming fire His ministers. Ps 104:4 (NAS)

For years the Lord has shown me that the ministers of flames of fire are coming to the church and it will not be church as usual. Yet the church is unprepared for what is about to come! The power of God is going to be displayed in such a way that it will astound the mind. Most religious leaders will reject it at first out of jealousy and for those Pastors who do not receive it, they will find their people at the nearest outpouring centers. Now is not the time to waiver but to get into Godís presence and go as high as one can climb in Him so that we are not left behind in what He is about to do. The Holy Spirit wind will blow through His messengers that will fan the flame of the greatest outpouring the world has ever seen. As this wind blows on the fire of God it will create whirlwinds of fire as in the days of the exodus from Egypt. Which will be seen by all men as a sign from God calling them to leave their sin and follow Him into the wilderness where we all must go for maturing.

Where have these ministers of flames of fire been hidden? On the backside of the wilderness, in business and jobs like Jesus and John the Baptist were. Many of them were in full-time ministry for years before the Lord called them out to go through a time of preparation in trials and tribulations. (See Rom 5:3, 1 Pet 4:19, 5:10). Now the seventh day (their time of completion) has come. They have been waiting in the temple of Godís presence being purified like gold in the fire and are coming forth in the glory and likeness of Jesus.

So he was hidden with her in the house of the LORD six years, while Athaliah was reigning over the land. 2 Kings 11:3 (NAS)

The story of King Joash is found in the book of 2 Kings 11, and 2 Chronicles 24. He is the prophetic picture of what is about to come to pass in the church. He was hidden in the house of the Lord for six years before his existence was revealed in the seventh year (the number of completion).

When King Ahab was killed his daughter Athaliah [Meaning, the timing of the Lord] killed all his grandsons so that she might reign in their place as king. Much leadership in the church is placed in position by mans political skills and not by the will of God or by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Some who are in leadership have killed off the true ministers of God through lies, manipulations, and misunderstandings. God will give them time to repent of this in the next move of God and because of that some will be greatly used of the Lord. But if they try to stop the Spirit of grace from moving through these ministers of flames of fire, the fire of God will consume them quickly.

"For so it was, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had fed them with bread and water." 1 Kings 18:4 (NKJV).

The devil has always tried to kill off the next move of God by killing the newborn seed that is to rule and reign. He tried to kill Moses as an infant, Jesus, and now through abortion he kills off thousands everyday and with nations turning their backs on Godís laws. Yet, the truth of the matter is the church kills off most of the true prophets of God sent to her just as Israel did in their time. Even though it may not be through physical death that is occurring, their words have slain many true servants of God. But God has hidden seven thousand prophets (prophetically speaking), because there are many more that are hidden around the world that are about to come forth. So if you are hidden on the backside of the desert take courage because your day of revealing is coming just as John the Baptistís day came for him. (See Luke 3).

Jehosheba the daughter of King Ahab took Joash as a baby and hid him in the house of the Lord for seven years. Her name means, [the fullness of the Lord]. God has saved and protected His chosen ones in the fullness of His presence and timing. Joashís name is also spelled as Jehoash meaning, [the fire of the Lord]. Joash was a minister of flames of fire to destroy all the works of the devil in Israel.

It is interesting to note that Joashís momís name was Ahaziah [it means the vision of the Lord]. These ladies that saved him had as much vision as Mosesí mom did when she said he was a "goodly child." These women risked their lives to save the plans and purposes of God in the earth.

A plan was devised by the priest Jehoiada, his name means, [the knowledge of the Lord]. I love it! God so sets up His people and His plans to name the people exactly what was needed at the time to save His chosen ones. And the same is true today; God has set everything in order to save and anoint His chosen ones to come forth in His perfect timing.

The priest plan was to call all the guards [angels] in from around the area to set the king on the throne. They had the weapons of David stored in the house of God to fight against the evil powers that were holding the people captive. 2 Kings 11:10 says, And the priest gave to the captains of hundreds the spears and shields that had been King David's, which were in the house of the LORD. The guards were given the weapons that King David had made during his reign. The weapons in the sanctuary were dedicated to the purposes of God and His Kingdom. The weapons were given to the captains and the guards to usher in the king to his kingdom.

In our battles we can try to use our own weapons on our own problems. But to pull down strongholds of witchcraft, antichrist spirit, powers, and principalities that are assaulting our nation and attacking our children, we need to come to the House of the Lord for the dedicated weapons. The house of the Lord is the presence of Jesus Christ in the midst of the local-motive, which is His body where His glory dwells. This is where God's people pray, worship, and wage spiritual warfare.

This corporate anointing, [the local-motive] is when we come together in communion [common-union] with our Lord and His likeness of the dedicated weapons that Jehoiada gave to the temple guards. We then become the battle-axe of the Lord of host to destroy all evil powers. They used those dedicated weapons of David to slay Athaliah and all of her demonic followers. Godís enemies will have no chance against this army!

"Then you shall surround the king, each with his weapons in his hand; and whoever comes within the ranks shall be put to death. And be with the king when he goes out and when he comes in." 2 Kings 11:8 (NAS)

The true ministers of God with the weapons of war protected the king. Our weapons are not of this world, but they are mighty and powerful to pulling down all strongholds that are not of God. This is the will of the Lord, for all his ministers to become winds and flames of fire and to sit on the throne clothed and crowned with the glory.

Years ago I had a vision of weapons stockpiled high like a large mound. When I asked the Lord what they were He said, "These were all left behind by those who fought here before you and now I want you to give them to others.

Then he brought the king's son out and put the crown on him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, "Long live the king!" 2 Kings 11:12 (NAS)

We are to be crowned with the crown of life, which is the very eternal life of God. We have been given the testimony of God, which is the presence and truth of God, His word and authority in us, His kingdom.

And all the people of the land went to the house of Baal, and tore it down; his altars and his images they broke in pieces thoroughly, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD. 2 Kings 11:18 (NAS)

When the glorious fire of God came through His minister of flames of fire [Joash] his first order was to kill all the false leadership that was ruining the kingdom. I realize that a seven-year-old king had nothing to do with this killing, but when he took his throne those who were under him had the courage to stand up and fight against evil. The true power and authority was coming though the High Priest. So it is with us, our High Priest Jesus is the Supreme Commander inside of us and He will unveil Himself in great power and authority through His people. The second order of business was to tear down all false houses of worship. These were nothing but houses of idolatry that hindered the people from worshipping the one true God.

"The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil." 1 John 3:8 (NAS)

In the coming move of God the presence of His power will destroy all the works of evil first in the church, then in the world system. God loves us too much to let us keep going the way we are. After the power of God fell on the day of Pentecost the Jewish church [Synagogue] was never the same. In fact the Romanís destroyed it all in AD 70. So it will happen again only on a worldwide scale rather than just a local one. All religions including the Pentecostal churches that do not allow the presence and power of God to move as He so wills will be washed away as if a great tsunami hit it. The power of God will be like the great flood that destroys all things that are not prepared for Him. By this I do not mean they will die physically, but that their ideology will crumble beneath them. Now is the time for us to prepare for what is coming.

Then Jehoash said to the priests, "All the money of the sacred things which is brought into the house of the LORD, in current money, both the money of each man's assessment and all the money which any man's heart prompts him to bring into the house of the LORD, let the priests take it for themselves, each from his acquaintance; and they shall repair the damages of the house wherever any damage may be found. 2 Kings 12:4-5 (NAS)

Today the house of God is in terrible disrepair spiritually like the church in Laodicea. We need to repent! The church has never been richer in earthly goods, but it has never been poorer in spiritual experience. So God is going to tear it down and rebuild it as His word says in Acts 15:16-18.

"After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, in order that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old.

The sanctuary of David was simple. It was just a tent with the Ark of the Testimony in it. The Ark represented the presence of God in the earth under a tent, which represents us as human flesh [the tent]. Through humans God is going to pour His glory out in such away that all of creation will stand up and take notice of what God has done through human flesh. Things of old will pass away and will not be sought after again because the new wine has come!

And his servants arose and made a conspiracy, and struck down Joash at the house of Millo as he was going down to Silla. 2 Kings 12:20 (NAS)

As I read this verse above I questioned the Lord on to why He would allow such a great man of God to die at his prime through a conspiracy. I think of how King David was continually protected by the Lord even when he sinned against Him. Then when I began to read the rest of the story of Joash in 2 Chronicles 24 I saw how not only he, but also how we could fall after being so greatly used of the Lord.

Where Joash went the wrong way we will go the right way and overcome the temptation to turn from the Lord when things are going better then we could ever even imagine. Joash did not cultivate his own personal relationship with the Lord, but lived off the cuff of the Jehoiada the priest who taught him everything about the Lord. Remember Jehoiadaís name means, [the knowledge of the Lord]. When the priest died so did the spiritual life of the king and he quickly gave way to worldly friends and advice that eventually got him killed. This is what we must be very watchful for! We must maintain a constant relationship with the Lord to receive His wisdom, knowledge and humility.

Now when Jehoiada [the priest] reached a ripe old age he died; he was one hundred and thirty years old at his death. And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done well in Israel and to God and His house. But after the death of Jehoiada the officials of Judah came and bowed down to the king, and the king listened to them. And they abandoned the house of the LORD, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols; so wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their guilt. 2 Chron 24:15-19 (NAS)

So great was this priest in the land of Israel that they buried him with the kings. The fact of the matter is, he was king! Even though he did not hold the title, he was the one running the kingdom behind the scene and the Lord knew this and gave him long life to help the people of Israel. The moral of the story is we must continue to seek the Lord when others leave us through death or because God calls them on to other things.

God had warned king Joash over and over again by sending a prophet to him who was the very son of the priest that just died and helped bring him to power. The king had him killed because he was preaching the truth of God to him. Now judgment would come upon the kingís reign and he would lose his life at age forty-seven.

This is a great warning to all of us! No matter how much we think we have done for or with God it is not enough to cover us from His judgments. If we walk away from the presence of the Lord by not spending time with Him daily we also will walk in pride and our fall will be imminent. May God help us all to remain humble in our own eyes and keep our garment of humility on.

"And oh, my dear Timothy, guard the treasure you were given! Guard it with your life. Avoid the talk-show religion and the practiced confusion of the so-called experts. People caught up in a lot of talk can miss the whole point of faith. Overwhelming grace keep you!" 1 Tim 6:20-21(MB)
